      I listen to a variety of different genres, mostly depending on my mood. However, I feel like the song that most resonates with me is “Falling Behind” by Laufey. The song is very upbeat and happy, and although it reminds me of elevator music, I like to believe there is meaning behind the choice of rhythm and tune. The theme of the song talks about experiencing loneliness and feeling unlovable due to the inability to find love or experiencing unrequited love. The cheerful tune reminds me of how people often disguise their loneliness or sadness with humor or playfulness. Additionally, these lyrics express how I often feel at times, and some of the lyrics even accurately portray my current relationships in real life. “Falling Behind” is meant for the listeners that are hopeless romantics, and yearn for that spiritual connection, but have difficulty fulfilling these fantasies. I consider myself a hopeless romantic, and listening to this song kind of puts things into perspective on how

     Hello everybody! My name is Kimberly Tran, but my friends call me Kim for short. I go by she/her pronouns, and my MBTI is ISFJ. I graduated Verdugo Hills High School in 2023 and am currently enrolled in CSUN as a Biotechnology major. I am working hard towards my bachelor’s degree and am actively searching for opportunities to improve myself and pursue my dream job as an optometrist. In my free time, I like to play online games and go shopping. My favorite pastime, however, is crafting, specifically sewing cute little plushies. I find that expressing myself creatively through different hobbies is the best way for me to represent myself, so I love trying new things. One of the things I cherish most in life is friendship. I enjoy hanging out with friends, even if it just includes us idly sitting around in a phone call all day.
